Andrew Garfield never tires of Spider-Man movies | entertainment

Andrew Garfield isn’t worried about the huge number of ‘Spider-Man’ films.

The 38-year-old actor played the legendary superhero in The Amazing Spider-Man from 2012 and its 2014 sequel, and suggested that audiences never tire of the character currently played by Tom Holland.

Andrew said to SiriusXM, “It’s like ‘Hamlet’, like you can never get enough ‘Hamlets’ or ‘Macbeths’ … I’m going to vouch for the character for a second in the sense that he’s the only superhero where he’s covered from head to toe. You don’t see any skin color, you don’t see any sexual orientation, you don’t see any of these things. “

The “Eyes of Tammy Faye” star believes the fact that “anyone” has the ability to introduce themselves as Spider-Man is key to the character’s continued popularity, who first appeared in Marvel Comics in 1962.

Andrew said, “Anyone can project themselves into the suit, and I think that’s why he’s probably the most popular superhero in the world, in every culture, in every race. Yeah, I think so. I really think so.”

He continued: “And there are also ordinary things with Peter Parker that anyone can project into.”

Tom Holland followed Andrew as Peter Parker / Spider-Man and will play the role again in “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and Andrew is happy to watch the superhero from afar.

On ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ of the upcoming film, Andrew said, “I think Tom Holland is just the perfect Peter Parker and Spider-Man, so I’m just amazed.

“And I can just be a fan again, which is my preferred position – being able to sit in the audience and say, ‘Yeah, you screwed it up buddy, you didn’t do as well as you’ could have done, huh? ‘

“I’m going to be that guy who just says, ‘Yeah, I don’t really love the suit …’ I’m going to be that fun person.”
