THE Manila Times (TMT) and Rakuten Viber have partnered on a special edition of “Coffee Break” to produce a program celebrating Filipino entrepreneurial trials and achievements.
It is titled Pinoy Dream Negosyo and will be streamed on Thursday, July 28th at 10am on TMT Facebook page, YouTube channel and Dailymotion account
“Pinoy Dream Negosyo,” moderated by this author and Rakuten Viber Public Relations Lead for Asia Pacific Lana Macapagal, featured Richmond “Argo” Argosino, winner of the “Raket Mo ‘To” Side Hustle Challenges, and Mon Cabsag, winner of the Da Best of FoodPH challenges for tasty businesses that answered questions about the activities, difficulties, and strategies that led to success in their respective online and face-to-face competitions.
After a simple registration on Viber’s RaketPH and FoodPH channels, respectively, Argosino and Cabsag led the weekly online challenges until they had the opportunity to present their business ideas face-to-face at the closing event in Makati on July 14th. The winners received business grants and awards from Rakuten Viber and its partners.
Particularly during the pandemic, the mission of Viber’s RaketPH and FoodPH channels has been to “educate, empower, and empower” Filipino micro, small, and medium-sized business owners by providing a place for them to share entrepreneurial experiences and “enabling business owners to… Opportunity to provide know-how and tools” to implement their business models and improve operations.
Pinoy Dream Negosyo aimed to inspire more entrepreneurs to create their own business ideas.
