Road Safety World Series 2022: Live Streaming, TV Broadcast and Where to Watch It

The 2022 Road Safety World Series begins today in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, where Indian legends will take on South African legends. The aim of this tournament is to raise awareness of road safety. The tournament has eight teams in total namely India Legends, Sri Lanka Legends, South Africa Legends, New Zealand Legends, Australia Legends, Bangladesh Legends, West Indies Legends and England Legends.

The event began in 2021 as a seven-team tournament and India lifted the trophy. This year New Zealand enters the tournament as the eighth team. Each team will play five games in the league stage before the top four qualify for the semi-finals.

The tournament takes place from today to Saturday. The tournament includes 23 matches played in Dehradun, Kanpur, Indore and Raipur. In the first season of the tournament, only matches were played in Pune, Mumbai and Raipur due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Road Safety World Series 2022: Live Streaming

Unlike traditional sports competitions, these games are not broadcast live by Star Sports Network or any similar sports channel. The game will be streamed live on the Voot app as Viacom 18 has bagged the broadcast rights to the tournament. In 2021, the games were streamed and broadcast on Colors Kannada Cinema and Rishtey Cineplex.

Road Safety World Series 2022: when and where to watch the show?

Since Viacom 18 owns the broadcast rights to the tournaments, you can watch the games on the dedicated sports channel Sports 18, Colors Cineplex and Colors Cineplex Superhits. The game will be played at 7.30pm IST.

Road Safety World Series 2022: Where will the games be played?

The Road Safety World Series 2022 matches will be mainly played in four venues namely Holkar Stadium – Indore, Green Park – Kanpur, Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium – Dehradun and Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. Raipur Stadium will host the three playoff games.

What is the Road Safety World Series (RSWS)?

As the name suggests, the aim of this international cricket series is to promote road safety. Former cricketers who have played for India, South Africa, West Indies, England, Australia, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh play in this tournament. Currently, India Legends are the defending champions.

Road Safety World Series 2022: Players to watch out for

Although there are many cricketing legends at the tournaments, the highlights would be Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara, Jonty Rhodes, Shane Watson, Brett Lee, Ian Bell, Chaminda Vaas, Sanath Jayasuriya and Shane Bond.
