Now, with the Viber lens, users can apply AR filters in the Viber app for the first time. For now, the app has 20 different Viber lenses to choose from, and Viber will also implement various local lenses in collaboration with local brands and celebrities.

The company also announced its plan to add at least 20 additional lenses each month, and companies will have the option to create their own exclusive lenses on Viber.

“We have had several partnerships in Nepal and have always been keen to provide more innovative features to make Viber more fun and useful for the everyday life of Nepalese users. This function is an additional possibility to offer our Nepalese users something special in their daily chats and communications. ”

– David Tse, Senior Director of APAC at Viber

Viber lenses are now available in Nepal for iOS (Viber version 15.5.5 and above) and Android (Viber version and above). Local lenses are available from Viber version 16.0 and higher.

Singer / songwriter Swoopna Suman and Coca-Cola are the first partners to integrate the local lenses into the app.

How to use the Viber lens

To use the new Viber lens feature, please follow the steps below:

  • Make sure the Viber app is installed and up to date
  • Open the Viber app
