WhatsApp web users are getting a new sticker feature with the beta update

Last month, Whatsapp introduced a feature for web users to create stickers from photos. According to a report by WABetaInfo, the platform is now releasing a new feature with the beta update that makes it possible WhatsApp web Users to explore the sticker store. So far, users could only send stickers that were already in the panel or that they had sent or received via the smartphone app. With the new sticker shop, users can now search for a sticker to send to another user in a group.
With the latest beta update, users can now open the Sticker Store on the WhatsApp web by tapping the plus icon in the sticker bar. Although the Sticker Store includes the same sticker packs seen on Android and iOS devices, it works differently on the web. Web users cannot download a sticker pack, but they can select an individual sticker from the pack to send to chat. Users can also tap the sticker to see the package it belongs to. As of now, the feature is only available to users who are registered for the WhatsApp Desktop beta program, but it is expected to roll out to other users soon.
Earlier this week, WhatsApp started a beta update with the introduction of skin tone combinations for Android devices. Android smartphone users can now create different skin tone combinations for couple emojis on WhatsApp. Previously, the feature was only available to Apple iPhone users and was previously discovered in the WhatsApp beta changelog for Android 2.21.22.8, but was under development. Although Facebook’s own platform has not announced when the feature will be made available to the public, it is expected to be available in the upcoming updates.
